The Most Commonly Needed Features:

Wall hugger   An adjustable bed is one of the most conmmonly asked features. Simply put, when you raise your head the whole matterss slides back and keeps you close to the wall (nightstand) so that everything you need is within close reach ( water, books, light etc.)  We too feel this is one of the most important features.

Wireless Remote  A Wireless remote is another feature one should look for in an adjustable bed. You can keep it close to your side for ease of use, where as a wired remote has to be pulled from a fixed position and can be kind of cumbersome. Please be sure to analize the remote shape and size. Look for large button that are easy commands as you do not want it to be a guessing game. One Touch is also an important feature on a remote. This feature allows for you to touch the button breifly and let go, as opposed to holding it down until position is finished. This doesn't sound important, but when you are tired and want to go to sleep the speed in which you go makes a difference.

Zero Gravity

What is the zero-gravity position?

The zero-gravity position on an adjustable bed base mimics the position astronauts take during liftoff. The position is meant to ease the stress on their bodies as they escape Earth’s gravity. The position raises the feet to the same level as the heart. People who have back pain or who would like to increase their circulation often find this position extremely relaxing.

Massage  Usually massage is looked as as a luxury, when in fact it can be considered one of the most advantagous features in an adjustable bed. The vibration helps stimulate the lympthatic circulatory system. Often used in the morning to jumpstart bloodflow to the lower extremedies. Do not overlook this feature there has been a lot of positive research and data  from the medical community that substantiates the benefits.
